COVID-19 Update: We are closely monitoring developments regarding the coronavirus. The health, safety, and wellbeing of the SNHU community is of the utmost importance to us. We are not taking registrations for any in-person Global Days of Service projects at this time. Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
Event Details: Saturday, April 11, 2020 | 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | Project C.U.R.E. Regional Distribution Center (2100 W. 14th St. Building T-3, Tempe, AZ)
Learn More: Since 1987, Project C.U.R.E. has been delivering life-saving medical equipment and supplies to hospitals and clinics throughout the under-resourced world. They're the world’s largest distributor of donated medical relief—touching the lives of children and families in more than 130 countries.
The SNHU group will be organizing and preparing donated supplies for shipment overseas.
Volunteers should wear comfortable clothes they don’t mind getting dirty and closed-toe shoes. Bottled water and soda are available for a small donation; we recommend bringing a water bottle. You are welcome to bring small snacks with you, if you wish.
Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older.
Our building is owned by Microchip Technologies, so it says “Microchip” in big letters at the top of our facilities, not “Project C.U.R.E.” We are located in the SE corner of that building.
