Alumni, Family and Friends
What Happened: Colleges of the Queen City Day of Service is a volunteer event for students, faculty, staff, and alumni for colleges and universities based in the Manchester, NH area to make tangible and visible impact in the community we all call home! Two projects took place on the SNHU campus. Rise Against Hunger, in which volunteers packaged 15,000 meals to be delivered to Burkina Faso, a country in West Africa. SNHU volunteers also helped to hand-make birthday cards in a new partnership with Meals on Wheels. The birthday cards will be delivered to all 1,200 recepients of Meals on Wheels during their birthday week each year. Check out the 2018 Global Days of Service Google album for photos from this project.
