Alumni, Family and Friends
What Happened: Volunteers started their day early at 6:30 a.m. to cheer along the race course and hand out medals to the 1000+ running completing the 5k or 10k at Run the Runway. Run the Runway benefits Playworks Arizona , the only non-profit organization in the country to send trained, full-time coaches to low-income, urban schools, where they transform recess and play into a positive experience that helps kids and teachers get the most out of every learning opportunity. Check out the 2018 Global Days of Service Google album for photos from this project.
Share Your Story: Remember to use #ServeWithSNHU to join the movement and share your experience on social media, and you can always give us more details on the Share My Story page.
Stay Involved: SNHU staff member Kurt Tautenhan was your volunteer project leader for this event. If you have general questions about SNHU Global Days of Service, please contact the Office of Alumni Engagement. And, check out more ways to get engaged with the SNHU community!
