What Happened: The clothing drive for The Pass Along Project at Manchester Community College spanned four full days in early April from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day. Over 119 volunteers sorted through approximately 750 bags of clothing! Collective volunteer hours ranked in just under 340 hours, and their efforts will serve around 300 children in foster care! We were proud to have SNHU volunteers assisting.
The Pass Along Project is a cooperative effort between local community volunteers to collect and redistribute gently used clothing to children entering foster care. Each bundle consists of enough clothing for a full week as a basic startup – similar to what most families purchase at the beginning of a school year.
Share Your Story: Remember to use #ServeWithSNHU to join the movement and share your experience on social media from the event, and you can always give us more details on the Share My Story page.
Stay Involved: Alumna and staff member Alli Pudvah '16 was your volunteer project leader for this event. If you have general questions about SNHU Global Days of Service, please contact the Office of Alumni Engagement. And, check out more ways to get engaged with the SNHU community!
