Happy New Year!
My name is Olivier Narcisse '15. I graduated from SNHU majoring in Sport Management. During my time at SNHU, I stayed involved with the student community by participating in the Sport Management Club and playing recreational sports throughout each semester. The relationships I was able to build during my time at SNHU still remain strong to this day, a true testament of the type of people who are within the SNHU community and faculty.
Upon graduation, I’ve taken on many roles in the sports world from working in professional sports, collegiate sports, youth and amateur sports, to my current job at New Balance. I would say with great confidence that SNHU has prepared me for every up and down in my career. With that being said, I feel as if I should share these experiences with current students at SNHU so they can build off everything I’ve learned. If there’s one way I can still impact the SNHU student body, it should be through experiences and growth.
I was honored to go back to SNHU in recent months as one of the guest speakers for the SNHU Sport Management Panel with other notable alums. We were able to give valuable insight to the future faces of the sport industry. I was also able to partake in a guest lecture for one of the Sport Management classes. Going back to SNHU and feeding knowledge of everything I learned is something I take great pleasure in doing because I know if I can impact one, I can impact many in some shape or form. This year should be a year of constant growth for everyone, all SNHU students and alums. Leave a mark on all the communities you’ve been a part of - SNHU was one of them for me and a place I won’t ever forget. Looking forward to going back to 2500 North River in the near future! Go Penmen!
