Alumni, Family and Friends
The Cupboard provides a reliable source of food and basic necessities for any SNHU student, staff, or faculty member who is in need, ensuring that everyone in our community can live, learn, work, teach, and thrive by meeting their basic needs.
The Cupboard has been operating since June 2017, serving some of the estimated 17% of our campus-based students who experience food insecurity. This initiative relies on support from staff, faculty, alumni, donors, and community partners. Your gift to The Cupboard will go directly to fresh and nonperishable food, personal care products and other basic needs to help SNHU students.
In addition to monetary gifts, The Cupboard also welcomes donations of food and personal items, which can be dropped off on Fridays between 1-7 pm in the Hospitality Building room 302. Our most in-demand items are: general snack foods; canned beans; canned tuna/chicken/turkey/salmon/spam; peanut and other nut butters; canned fruit and vegetables; canned soup, stew, and chili; white rice; pasta and pasta sauce; cereals; instant oatmeal; granola bars; crackers; toothpaste and toothbrushes; floss; soap (dish, hand, and body wash); shampoo; deodorant; tampons/pads; laundry detergent; toilet paper; paper towels; and diapers.
