Or join a DIY project from wherever you are. Don’t forget to share your story and number of hours you served—we’ll tally up and report our collective impact at the end of Global Days of Service.

Come celebrate 20 years of impact with The Chandler Center at this annual event recognizing students’ commitment to service and social action. This year’s celebration marks The Chandler Center’s 20th anniversary, honoring not only our current students, but also the alumni who helped build a lasting legacy of community engagement. From basketball and baseball to soccer, softball, and more, these camps offer young athletes the chance to learn from our talented coaches and student-athletes while having fun on campus. Thank you for Joining Us in Dallas! On March 12, Dallas area SNHU community members gathered for a day of service and fun! Volunteers kicked off the day with Crossroads Community Market in honor of Global Days of Service. Crossroads Community Services is a nonprofit dedicated to increasing the number of food-secure households in the Dallas community. Check out this recap video to learn more about SNHU’s volunteer efforts with Crossroads. Later, SNHU students and alumni enjoyed mingling with President Ryerson and fellow Penmen at Electric Shuffle. Congratulations to the Tory C. Marandos Competition Winners!
On April 3, SNHU hosted the 9th annual Tory C. Marandos Competition, a student pitch competition named after the late entrepreneur. Participating students pitched business concepts to a team of alumni judges for a chance to win up to $15,000 in scholarships. The competition was followed by an award ceremony. A special thank you to Lynda and Cos Marandos for making this event possible. Join us in congratulating the 2026 winners:

Monee Correll ’23G, of Mooresville, North Carolina, published her Christian devotional book “Lifted”, which is being used by readers for personal devotion and Bible study.
William Crandall ’24 ’25MBA, of Orono, Maine, is a newly published author, writer, and graphic designer under Majestic Mustangs LLC. His writing covers many genres and topics such as children’s books and social injustice books.
Shelby Hedlund ’24, of Nashua, New Hampshire, was accepted into Boston University's online Master of Social Work program starting this summer.
Sawyer Rogers ’20, of Kensington, New Hampshire, organized the first-ever New England Town Meeting Symposium bringing together over 150 students, academics, and state and local government practitioners to discuss the past, present, and future of local government and democracy.
