Deadline extended! Alumni Board Applications: Due July 15
The SNHU Alumni Association Board of Directors is composed of elected volunteers who serve the association's mission: providing support, as alumni, through leadership and commitment to the tradition and future of the Southern New Hampshire University community and developing and enhancing alumni pride in, and affinity to, the university. Members of the board of directors are elected to serve a three-year term. The Nominations Committee is currently accepting applications for the term starting in September 2024. Native American Health Perspectives and Natural Medicinal Herbals Wednesday, July 24 | 12-1:15 pm ET | Virtual Presented by the SNHU Health Professions and Nursing team, this engaging presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of the impact of the epidemic of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) in relation to public health and health education. Basketball Summer Camp for Girls SNHU (Manchester, NH)
Registration is open for the New Hampshire Hoop Skills Basketball camp, led by SNHU Women’s Basketball Coach, Karen Pinkos. New Hampshire Hoop Skills provides fun-filled instruction and emphasis on the fundamentals of basketball for girls in grades 2-10. The camp runs from July 29-Aug. 1. Limited spots available.

Thanks to the generosity of the SNHU community, we raised more than $215,000 from 278 donors for The President Paul J. LeBlanc First-Generation Scholarship Fund! This scholarship will break down barriers to education, providing financial assistance for students who are the first in their families to pursue an undergraduate degree.
President LeBlanc has been a steadfast advocate for accessibility and inclusivity in higher education and is a first-generation graduate himself. Michael Burton '21, of Atlanta, Georgia, published his first educational book, Unlock Your Creativity with Photopea.
Robert Eisman '19, of Glen Allen, Virginia, was promoted to research analyst at Kynetec.
Ryan Walker '22, of Groton, Connecticut, published his first historical book, The Silent Service's First Hero through Pen & Sword Maritime. The book is the culmination of four years of research and writing and studies the only enlisted submariner to receive the Medal of Honor in 1924.
Shelby Hedlund '24, of Hudson, New Hampshire, started a new job as an adult community support counselor at the Center for Life Management.
