Our 3rd annual TEDxSNHU event on February 27, 2025 will be centered around the theme of “Breaking Barriers.” We see members of our SNHU community pushing the limits of what’s possible, redefining boundaries and inspiring change. Take Back the Night Thursday, Oct. 10 | 6-7 pm | Robert Frost Hall, SNHU
Take Back the Night is the oldest worldwide movement to stand against sexual violence in all forms. Each October, the Deborah L. Coffin Women's Center brings the SNHU community together to share stories, light glowsticks, and march in solidarity to reclaim the night and empower survivors. This year, you’re invited to share your story. A livestream will be available for those who can’t be there in person.

Fall Fiction Short Story Contest Have a story to tell? Submit your work for SNHU’s 10th annual Fall Fiction Short Story Contest. When you submit, you could have the chance to win up to $3,000 in SNHU scholarships, a publication in The Penmen Review, and a writing-themed prize package. Ali Maloof '15 '17G NE10 Hall of Fame Ceremony
Former SNHU softball student-athlete and assistant coach, and current Stonehill College head coach, Ali Maloof was honored for her NE10 Hall of Fame induction at a fall scrimmage between the Penmen and Skyhawks on Sept. 29, 2024.

ABET Reaccreditation
In December 2023, the School of Engineering, Technology and Aeronautics (SETA) hosted the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET for a site visit as part of the standard review process. SNHU is excited to announce the baccalaureate degree in Mechanical Engineering, the baccalaureate degree in Aeronautical Engineering, and the baccalaureate degree in Electrical Engineering have been granted reaccreditation by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. Christopher Gonyea '04, of Hooksett, New Hampshire, has accepted a position at York IE in Manchester, New Hampshire as a senior product strategist.
Ruby LaMonte-McDonald '24, of Missouri City, Texas, published a self-help book for men of color called Blames and Balances, the Ultimate Triggers. 50% of proceeds will go to The Fort Bend Church young adult group in Sugarland, Texas.
Yessenia Ordonez '24MBA, of Guttenburg, New Jersey, earned her MBA and joined ALDEAGuatemala.org as a board member. After being accepted into law school, she decided to continue scaling her efforts and took a break from work. She was also awarded her first scholarship for the MLS program in Cybersecurity.
