Alumni, Family and Friends
My name is Gloria Lee and I’m a proud SNHU graduate, current student, volunteer, and employer! As someone who has career experience in online education, I knew that the school I selected for my master’s program needed to be special. SNHU met and exceeded all my expectations; the University was able to provide me with high-quality learning on my schedule and offered relevant minors and concentrations to take my career to the next level. I completed my MBA with SNHU in 2021 and enjoyed it so much that I’m currently enrolled in the MS Organizational Leadership program!
As a first-generation learner, I’m especially aware of how far a degree can take me. I watched my parents struggle to make ends meet and work incredibly hard in positions that did not recognize their efforts appropriately. Obtaining my degrees at SNHU not only provided me with the qualifications to do more in my career, but also the critical thinking skills that are crucial in being a people manager and strategic leader. I’ve been afforded many opportunities to grow in my career; my SNHU coursework helped others uncover my potential and provided me the confidence to display my expertise.
Today I volunteer with SNHU in a variety of ways. I serve as the Vice President of our Alumni Board of Directors, which I highly recommend joining (more information below)! I also volunteer at events like commencement, homecoming, and student mock interviews. One of my favorite roles is as intern employer; I work with our HR department to provide internship opportunities to well-deserving SNHU learners, and I’m always impressed by the new ideas our students bring to our organization.
SNHU students are doing amazing things all over the world, and I’m beyond proud to represent the University as we continue to grow. SNHU is fortunate to have learners both on campus and online, representing an incredible amount of diversity in our student population. I look forward to discovering new ways to serve with SNHU and engage our community in new and exciting ways!
