In 2023, SNHU celebrated the achievements of 39,000 graduates at Commencement ceremonies in the spring and fall, both virtually and in-person. Graduates from all 50 states and across the globe joined a community of more than 238,000 alumni. The University awarded a total of 4,500 associate degrees, 25,000 bachelor's degrees, 9,300 master's degrees and 44 doctoral degrees. Among the class of 2023, 4,184 military-affiliated learners earned degrees.
On April 29-30, Southern New Hampshire University welcomed graduates to the SNHU Arena for four commencement ceremonies. Graduates aged 17-79 walked the stage this year to celebrate with fellow students, family and friends. The celebrations continued on May 20 during the virtual commencement ceremony, an immersive 360-degree virtual reality ceremony for graduates who were unable to attend in person. On Saturday, Nov. 18, eligible Fall graduates and their loved ones filled the SNHU Arena once again to celebrate and honor their achievements. On Dec. 9, graduates from all over the country were recognized during a unique and immersive virtual commencement. Some inspiring graduates included a 63-year-old grandmother of 33, and a husband and wife from Louisiana, who crossed the stage together just 2 months after the birth of their first child.
