I love how the assignments require me to research rather than just read information from a text.
I have three children and I'm a stay at home parent due to two of my children having special needs. Scholarships give me the financial stability to go to SNHU without having to choose between supporting my family and attending school.
Thank you, you are allowing people to achieve their dreams when they may not otherwise have the financial ability to do so.
The learning experience matched what I was looking for in a college.
I had my son at age 17 and was unable to attend college at that time, my life experiences have led me back to obtain my degree in the human services field.
My life experiences of having children with special needs inspired me to obtain my degree in the human services field. I want to help other families achieve their goals and overcome obstacles.
My advisers have provided me the encouragement I needed to realize my potential as a student and have been my biggest supporters through their encouraging emails and words.
I have not been involved as much as I would like due to my family obligations; however, I fully support the wonderful organizations that SNHU provides to their students.
The most challenging thing for me so far has been dealing with unexpected circumstances - such as having all my children home due to Covid-19. I have used the skills that my instructors have given me to learn to manage my time. The encouragement that the staff and instructors have provided has helped me stay motivated.
I have discovered confidence through my success at SNHU and feel that I can do anything that I set my mind to.
To provide support to future students through encouraging emails or cards.
