The staff! Everyone is so kind, helpful and very attentive. They made it possible for me to be back in school. SNHU is affordable as well!
Without the help of scholarships and financial aid it wouldn't be possible for me to be in school — this type of support has made all the difference. Scholarships and financial aid have helped me to be able to set a future for my children.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!
SNHU is more affordable than other colleges. I also chose it because of the convenience in being able to take online classes whenever and wherever.
To become a psychologist and maybe then continue my education in becoming a psychiatrist. I want to make a way for a better future for my family. I want to show others that my disability doesn't define me, so they can see they can do it too!
I've always wanted to do something to help others and make an impact on their lives. Since my dream to be an OBGYN wasn't going to be possible anymore after my brain aneurysm and becoming disabled, I chose a different path — one where I can still assist others. I want to be remembered as that person who helped someone get through the tough times in life.
Annmarie Wu, my academic advisor, has been the biggest influence on my college experience. She helped me every step of the way and should be commended for all of her hard work. The way she has cared for me on this journey has meant the world to me!
The most challenging thing is making sure I'm accomplishing my class assignments correctly. I deal with this challenge by reaching out for help and making sure I take time away from my work to get a clear mind.
Getting back to school! After suffering my brain aneurysm and becoming disabled I didn't think this would of been possible. With so much determination and my amazing support team, I made it possible. My good grades also make me proud. If you just put your mind to it you'll be able to accomplish great things too.
I'd love to help mentor others on their academic journey. Be their cheerleader as they make this giant leap!
