What made you choose Southern New Hampshire University, and what do you value most about your experience here?

Southern New Hampshire university was my first choice because I live close and I knew that the sport management program was great. I was able to get in to the athletics program through connections as well, so that helped boost my decision. I also really enjoy the learning here and the sport teams as well as the overall experience at SNHU.

How do the scholarships and financial aid you receive make it possible for you to attend SNHU? How have they made a difference for you?

This scholarship will definitely help take some pressure off my shoulders and allow me focus more on my future and less on what I owe. It also makes it easier for me to attend SNHU by helping cover a portion of my travel and class expenses. I really appreciate this support because it helps reduce my stress and allows me to focus more on school.

What message would you like to share with the alumni and friends whose generosity made your scholarship possible?

I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart that I was awarded a scholarship. This is more appreciated than anything and I am so grateful. This has changed my college experience and will help me be more focused on my education.

Tell us about your journey to and through SNHU. What inspired you to pursue your degree, and what are you most proud of so far?

I have always enjoyed sports, so I decided to go into sport management. SNHU is a great campus and has a great sport program. I am very proud of myself for getting this scholarship and receiving an award.

How has receiving scholarship support shaped your experience at SNHU or influenced your future plans?

This has shaped me to become a more dedicated leader and stay focused on my education. This helps me stay focused on sport management as well as I continue working for SNHU Athletics.
