My advisor, Mike Solis, and how much he helps me. The information in the classes is relevant and what I want to learn.
I couldn't attend without financial aid or scholarships. I live paycheck to paycheck and aid gets me through the billing to afford classes.
You make people's education a reality. Many people are struggling and want to learn, but just don't have the means. Your generous donations make it possible for students in need to learn. You are supporting success. It truly means the world to scholarship recipients.
My wife referred me because she had a great experience at SNHU.
I hoped to have an education that is mine forever. I love that fact that once you earn the degree it is yours. I never dreamed I'd ever go to college. No one in my family ever has. I'm a first-generation college student and loving the experience so far. I've learned so much that is relevant to my current marketing position and my dreams down the road.
I love marketing and being a brand ambassador. I hope to own my own marketing firm when I graduate or land a job as a regional market manager.
Mike Solis (my academic advisor) has been a vital part of my success. He has helped me navigate the college system, find scholarships, and always has time to discuss school. He always answers his phone and emails, so I feel I can trust and count on him.
I think time management is the hardest thing. I've learned to set aside time for studying and working on assignments. If you treat being a student as a job and schedule your "work hours" you'll put in enough time to be successful.
I'm proudest of being able to be the first person in all the generations of my family to get any type of college degree.
I hope to make enough money to be able to be a scholarship donor in the future.
