I can work on my classes on my time and adjust as my schedule changes. The educators have been great and very knowledgeable in their field. The assistance from drop-in tutoring has helped tremendously as well.
I struggled to figure out how to pay for my last few classes and books. As a single mom who works full time, I have to penny-pinch, making it incredibly difficult to set money aside for emergencies or unexpected bills. I am so thankful this scholarship came through.
I appreciate your assistance more than I can ever express. I struggle to ask for help as I know most people do. As a single mom, there is such a stigma that you have to do it on your own and you shouldn't need help which is not the case at all. I will be forever grateful that you helped me finish my degree. Neither my mother nor father attended college and received a degree, so I will be the first to achieve this huge accomplishment.
They had great reviews and were willing to help me transfer my credits.
With any new endeavor, there are always challenges. Although I did not anticipate how difficult it would be, I am proud of all that I have overcome to get to this point.
I have always loved video games even as a child. It was something my dad and I could enjoy together and something we still enjoy together. My dream job would be working with a company that values my creative input in Game Development and my unique perspective as a woman in a male-dominated industry.
That is hard to choose because there were so many great professors along the way. Both Professor Whitworth and Professor Shears were very encouraging throughout my classes with them. They recognized my potential and skills and provided effective and constructive criticism and advice.
I became part of the National Society of Leadership and Success.
Time management was a struggle at first and even again as the intensity of my classes increased.
Maintaining mostly A's and B's and a good GPA throughout my college career.
I would love to be able to advise new students and maybe eventually be a teacher with the school.
