The sense of belonging and community has been my favorite part about SNHU.
Scholarships have made it possible for me to focus more on school than working to fund my education. It has taken such a big weight off my shoulders.
I would say I don't think they realize how much they are truly helping some of us. Supporting scholarships goes such a long way and when it comes to something this important, it means the world to us students.
I chose SNHU because of the amazing atmosphere and opportunities they provide their students.
I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and discover what I was passionate about. The experience was so much better than I imagined. I was very nervous about going to college and this school has changed my life.
I switched to my major halfway through my freshmen year because I truly loved the department and realized I was just meant to be in this field. After joining The Penmen Press, I knew this major was for me. My dream job is to become a professor and help more students like me.
I am a part of a few boards for clubs. I am the President of The Penmen Press, the Trip Chair for CAPE, and the Vice President for Club Field Hockey. I also have two on-campus jobs. I am a Learning Fellow and Social Media Assistant.
I found meeting new people to be the most challenging. I was very shy in high school, and it was hard for me to talk to new people. By joining clubs and going to events on campus, I was able to meet people who were willing to come up to me, and from there I am more outgoing than I have ever been.
I am proudest of what I have accomplished at this school. I never thought I would be so involved on campus.
I want to come back to campus and be a resource for students, someone who can connect with students and help them in meaningful ways.
