I love the support network at SNHU. I've utilized the Career Center several times and have found the Internship Fair extremely helpful. My academic advisor, Eric, always ensures I am on track to graduate and is always available to talk when I need help. My manager at the Deborah L. Coffin Women's Center on campus is one of the most supportive people I know. Lastly, the professors and instructors on campus genuinely take an interest in getting to know their students and create a wonderful learning environment.
Scholarships make a huge difference for me in terms of being able to attend SNHU. Right out of high school, I began college at a private university near Boston. This put me in a lot of debt that I did not understand as an 18-year-old. One of the main reasons I chose to attend SNHU was the affordability of a quality education. Scholarships like this make the debt I've accrued remain stagnant instead of growing even more.
I am extremely grateful for this scholarship. I was at work the day I received my financial aid package for the fall. After doing some quick calculations, I realized that the vast majority of my semester will be covered by grants and scholarships including the John P. Fleming Memorial Scholarship. This realization made me very emotional as student loan debt is a huge stressor for me and many other students. I will be able to complete this semester without adding to my current student debt and that would not be possible without this scholarship.
I chose to attend SNHU because of its reputation. SNHU offers an affordable, quality education on a beautiful campus. I've had so many opportunities for career and personal growth while attending SNHU.
My experience at SNHU has been excellent. I came to SNHU last fall after taking a few years off of school. I was extremely nervous during my first week of classes as I had not been in school for several years. I found that the community at SNHU is welcoming and supportive. I've been able to take advantage of so many opportunities that I never would have thought possible a year ago. I think choosing to continue my education at SNHU has been one of the best decisions I've made for myself.
