The flexibility of being an online student!
The scholarships and financial aid I receive allow me to focus more on my studies rather than working, which helps reduce my stress and maintain my good grades.
Thank you for making it possible for students like myself to be able to stress less financially while furthering my education!
A friend who studied here told me it was an easy-to-navigate, accredited college, so I decided to look into it and loved the flexibility it offers with online classes.
In pursuing a college education I wanted to be able to gain the college experience and expand my education so I could get to the career that I want. While my expectations slightly differ from reality since I'm doing online classes, I still get to interact with my class and learn about everyone throughout the term.
My dream job is to be a therapist, so I am majoring in psychology! I’ve always had a passion for helping others, but someone I met showed me that this passion can be turned into a career where I can truly make a difference.
Thus far in my experience at SNHU, I’d say that Professor Silva has had the biggest influence on me. She provides excellent feedback and has helped me improve my writing while being more open to those around me throughout her class.
Figuring out a schedule that fits all of my coursework, studying, and things outside of school was a struggle at first. However, I combated this by setting aside certain days and times to do school work and study leaving the remaining time for outside activities so I don't get burnt out.
I'm proudest of having a 4.0 GPA as a first generation college student!
I hope to stay involved by encouraging more people to follow their goals and further their education.
