I really like the environment, scenery as well as the way everyone is so helpful.
Scholarships have made a difference for me because my family struggles financially. Thankfully for financial aid, I'm able to attend SNHU and have a break with worry about money. The scholarship I was awarded will help propel my education and goals. Scholarships have made the biggest impact in my life, not only for myself but my family.
The impact you make by donating to support student scholarships is something I could never put into words. Thank you so much for changing students' lives for the better!
I chose SNHU for the many opportunities it presented me.
I transferred to SNHU two years into my college experience, which I never saw coming. Looking back, I'm so thankful I did!
Growing up through some difficult adversity gave me a extreme amount of empathy and has led me to wanting to help others in the future. I'd love to be a sports psychologist that works with athletes and supporting their mental health. I could also see myself helping people who are struggling addicts. I just know I want to work with people and make a positive difference in their lives.
My coach, Eli Monteiro, has been my biggest influence. Everyday, on and off the soccer field, he emphasizes how important it is to be a good person and not just a good player. He teaches significance of carrying good traits such as honesty, communication, teamwork, respect and etc. These traits not only apply on the soccer pitch, but are universally needed anywhere in life. Upon transferring, Coach Eli gave me the opportunity to thrive and I'm forever grateful to be under his wing, as a member of the SNHU Women's Soccer team.
I'm a member of the Women's Soccer team and I was a part of Team Impact and the Student-Athlete Advisory committee.
I find balancing soccer, my grades and work is the most challenging aspect. It can be super tricky to fit in time to work, when I'm also taking five classes and I'm in the midst of the busy soccer season.
I'm proudest of maintaining my grades and performance during my soccer season. I'm also very proud of remaining my true self, despite anything that is thrown at me. I always find a way through.
I hope to attend alumni events and engage in other alumni opportunities. I also wish to stay in contact with all my coaches and teammates, and maybe even land an internship through SNHU — if the right opportunity arises. Additionally, I definitely plan on pursing a masters degree.
