The endless opportunities SNHU offers.
Scholarships have made a difference by putting less pressure on me to over load myself with work. Chipping a little less of a financial burden off my back and allowing me to focus on what is really important.
A huge thank you to scholarship donors for investing in our future. We are the next you!
My hope was to be able to learn as much as I can so I can go out and use what I learned to expand my knowledge even further.
My dad inspired me to become an engineer. My dream job is to build something that can be used to improve the lives of people. Whether that is better housing, youth education, food insecurity, any problem.
Being a woman in engineering has been a challenge. Typically there are 18-25 students in an engineering class, and at most four of my peers will be women. It can be intimidating and stressful, but the women in engineering have been amazing friends to me.
I'm proud of so many things it's hard to pick just one. Some of my top accomplishments are: Vice President of ASME, Global Leadership Conference, Take 5 and Alternative Break Coordinator, Robotics Lab Assistant and Event Coordinator, Roca Kidz Club.
I want to stay involved with the Women in SETA nights, encouraging and networking with SNHU engineering students.
